Roasting the ten pound goose in my mom's old Ronko spit oven was successful, though Cousin Connie and I had a challenge in wrangling it on the spit. The goose was good, though a little tough. The flavor, however, was outstanding. I think maybe I could cook it about ten minutes less than the recipe called for.
