I think this is Whitethorn Acacia (google lens got this one right) Sorry it's a bad photo AGAIN. I think I'm just going to have to go back to my camera as I'm not happy with these photos. Anyway, sure wouldn't want to have to hike near these, YIKES! It's also called All-thorn Acacia Mescat.

Whitethorn Acacia is an attractive shrub or small tree with fragrant showy orange-yellow flowers in textured globose balls. Whitethorn Acacia is cultivated and used in desert landscaping. Because of its large sharp spines it is often used as a protective barrier hedge.
