Where the blue dot, is shown on this map, the 3.5 mile mark uphill direction, the open source maps show the trail switching back up to the left toward Swift Hwy. It actually continues to the left as shown by the red line. Keep an eye out around this 3.5 mile mark to see where the trail continues. I did not not personally make it up this far on my triplog but friends were out there later in March and shared this.
