There were several isolated sunflower stalks. Saw several stalks consumed by waist-high ivy too. The large swath in the field before Reavis Valley propper only covered about three parking spaces of space. Further north by the Gap Trail we've seen half a football field with taller sunflowers in prime years. I did not get that far today.
