Top photo is looking north in July 21 - 2010 with all the Glacier Lillies.
Bottom photo is this year, July 17, looking at all those Glacier Lillies. As you can see, 2010 and this year are good years for Glacier Lillies.
FYI How do glacier lilies reproduce?
The flowers are pollinated by bumble bees. This species will be happy when grown in an irrigated rock garden in full sun to part shade. After flowering in the spring the bulb will go dormant. This species is slow to grow from seed and may take 3-4 years to reach maturity
