Whitefish River cuts right through the town. I never really swam in the river, only the lake but that's because our house was on Whitefish Lake. It was a great double decker house that has since been remodeled and costs mucho money. However, I liked it better the way we had it.

The Whitefish River is a 24.8-mile-long southward-flowing stream originating at the outlet of Whitefish Lake. The river is a tributary of the Stillwater River just before it reaches the Flathead River in Flathead County
