Heading to Great Falls via Highway 223 toward Fort Benton. The hay baling is in full swing.
DAY SIX 7-30-2022 was grocery/birthday day so we headed to Great Falls, 75 miles away, but not until I had my oatmeal with fresh huckleberries! One of the great things that came from Covid is that a lot of farmers/ranchers order their groceries online (especially when you have to drive 75 miles one way) and then go to curbside pick up. It saves so much time. You still have to go to a regular grocery for items that aren't carried at Sam's Club. We had a birthday lunch for Connie's daughter who had flown in from Hawaii to drive a combine for her cousin Dallas (Connie's brother). We met up at the Sip n Dip Lounge at O'Haire Manor, known for the swimming mermaid you can watch from the bar.
