I found these frequently in good-size clusters, all along the hike, in all sorts of terrain, from grassy to wooded, and everything in between. My first thought was red & yellow pea (Acmispon wrightii), but I am wondering if it might be Acmispon oroboides -- which is more appropriate for time of year, elevation and terrain?
