A huge manzanita tree with some branches reaching way over 10 feet tall. There's a pretty pink flower and then this tree produces many little apples (manzanitas, in Spanish). They are edible but they are usually pretty sour. I don't know when they ripen but it seems like every time we see these trees, the apples are green and not quite ripe yet.
