Walking back across a grassy field, a few hundred yards from the petroglyph site I noticed this ceramic "hook". I'm guessing it's ancient (there was no modern trash around) but I've not seen anything like it before. Added 11/10/23: Expert told me it's likely the tip of a ladle handle.
