Trailhead parking area along SC-5... Plug in the supplied GPS coordinates, go through the opening in the fence, and start walking. Access into the canyon does NOT require rope or specialty equipment. All that is required are backcountry skills, good boots and good judgment (see maps photo set 04/23/2010 for more info).
