Ha! August 2002. We just got done cleaning the Boat after we sank it on a fateful, stormy night on Roosevelt Lake. Dad graduated to Submarine Captain on that Trip.... We managed to save the Boat and Motor, thanks to many close friends in the Bass Club. It became pretty humorous once we got the boat back on the Trailer and up into the Parking Lot about 11:00 P.M. We had clothes and cr** hanging all over the Boat and Truck, trying to dry everything out...Went swimming for our gear the next morning and found every bit of it except for my Tackle Box.... Dad had to completely retire from fishing about a year after that, due to health reasons....
