This guy didn't seem to mind us at all, and was circling around us. He never shook his rattle, and if you know me and my very appropriate and cautious fear of vipers, I was not pleased that it seemed to want to move toward me when I got off the trail to move around it. I had been on that rock shortly before it decided to claim it.
