Train station memorial to Cuinchy's dead, military and civilian, mostly in World War I, but also World War II and Indochina. I don't know what Cuinchy's population was 100 years ago, but it is currently about 1,700. The town lost seven civilians and 52 (!) soldiers in the Great War -- three dying of wounds after the war ended, one as late as 1921.
