Six Oatmans rest here: Royse (father, 48); Mary Ann (mother, 38); Lucy (16); Royce Jr. (11); Charity Ann (5); and Roland (only a year old). When they were found, they were laid side-by-side, with cairns placed over their bodies (as the ground was too hard to dig a grave). I believe this is the fathers grave.
