EAGLE LAKE. Our weather was precarious for the first couple days of the AZ Highways Photo Workshop. This lake is along the carriage roads and behind me is a stone bridge. You can see all of this in my videos via my Playlist in the trip report. Eagle Lake at 436 acres, is the largest fresh water lake in Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island. It has a maximum depth of 110 feet and an average depth of 50 feet. Oh it is also the town of Bar Harbor's drinking water.
