This is a collage of our shoot at Metcalf Bottoms not too far from the Lodge next to The Little River, a popular spot for fishing and tubing. There is also a trail near here: Metcalf Bottoms Trail is a 1.5 mile out and back trail located near Gatlinburg, Tennessee that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips and is accessible year-round. Length 1.5 mi Elevation gain187ft.
Metcalf Bottoms was named after the Metcalf family that lived up the mountain. As the road crew was here building the road through the mountain, the Metcalf family would bring lunch and drinks down to the workers, daily. As a thank you to the family, the park put in a picnic area and named it after the Metcalfs.
