The TH parking(at the end of FR223) is ~100yards to the back of me; This pic view is looking north at Redmond Mtn(pic center); We are hiking down to upper Shute Springs(note riparian area further down the road) and then an add'tl serious downhill to Shute Creek Wash which is the major cut in front of Redmond Mtn;
