Quite a few of these dudes, so I stopped for a photo. As far as ID, looks kinda wirelettuce, and Flagstaff is the Arizona area for blue wirelettuce (Mulgedium oblongifolium), which can also be purple, but these were always obviously pink. Dunno ...
