We reached the cave (...actually one of them) around 11:30am and we decided to explore it for a while. Did not have the needed rope so we decided to continue towards Parsons Spring and return to the cave prepared later. After the trail ends we scrambled on both sides of the river and we hit the Parson Spring around 1:30pm. The return was fairly easy consider the footmarks and the GPS backtracking. We got back to the car around 4:30pm thinking to came back soon. So much to see in only one day....
PS My kids loved the adventure and they want to be back for some cave exploring. |
