| no partners | | | This is the highest point east of the Mississippi and a respectable elevation gain. I hiked this as a shuttle dayhike, from bottom to top. We started with my dad, an aunt, an uncle, and two cousins. We had record heat (~90F) with typical dripping southeast humidity. Some of older folks just did a short up-and-down from the cars, but an uncle and a cousin made the whole slog. The total time includes half an hour stopped for lunch. |
