| no partners | | 3 day road trip to the California Coast on business. Too much "carry-on" for a plane so I decided to drive and Lynn came along for the ride. Friday afternoon meetings with our Diabetes division in Northridge CA followed by a pleasant drive up the coast to Avila Beach near San Luis Obispo.
Checked into the Avila Lighthouse Suites => http://www.avilalighthousesuites.com/ and explored the beach and village Friday evening with Lynn.
Saturday morning I gave a presentation on competitive technologies at a CRDM Sales Meeting followed by an evening Clam Bake at Oceano Dunes with the Sales Team. Oceano Dunes is a "no rules" beach where you can drive your vehicle on the beach, have a bon fire, BBQ, beverages of choice, live music, and good times. Although it may seem like a recipe for anarchy, it was incredibly civilized. Got to do that again soon! |
