August 2024 Hiked first six miles from Pine Th (western end) to Pine Spring. Beautiful weather away from the valley heat. Saw 6-8 elk grazing in a tree filled meadow about 2miles from TH… nice treat! Brought a hammock and had a little siesta at Pine spring…
