Walked to Cater Falls from the wide turnout near Cougar Rock Campground so just a short 2.2 miles trek. Also walked down to the Narada Falls viewpoint from the parking lot. A few patches of snow there but nothing too bad. Finished up with the Trail of the Shadows at Longmire. The mountain didn't really show itself today but the weather was still pretty nice and the park was less crowded than I had expected -- I guess it's still early in the tourist season.

This almost level interpretive trail circles a swampy meadow with mineral springs. Walked in the evening, saw a lot of deers and signs of beaver presence.
