Trying to see if I can just make it over 700 miles for the 2019 calendar year. Headed out to Tyron Creek State Park and ran around for a couple of hours. Temps around 40 degrees, muddy/wet trail, overcast. First time out here- it's a nice trail system for running and is conveniently close to where I live, but overall there is nothing super exciting about the place.

Another quick day hike close to town just to get outside for an hour or two.

This park is pretty cool. It has a bunch of trails of varying conditions (hiking singletrack, equestrian doubletrack, etc.) But the dense northwest forest, and all the creek crossings are what make this one fun.

I made a loop on the south side by connecting two trailheads with a 3/4 mile trip through the adjacent neighborhood.

So my trip was Old Main :next: Red Fox :next: South Creek :next: Iron Mountain :next: Neighborhood to Red Fox :next: Cedar :next: Middle Creek :next: Maple Ridge and back on Old Main. So much for the 7 uniques I should get from that! :lol:
