From Gorge parking lot to Alberta Falls to Bear Lake, counterclockwise around the lake and back for the parking lot.

Nice family friendly hike through RMNP. Parked at the Park n Ride, then took the shuttle to the Bear Lake TH. Looped around the lake, then did the 1 mile to Alberta Falls. It was unseasonably warm (almost 90), so the family stopped at the main trail end and then let me climb the boulders to the very top of the falls, which were pretty awesome. From there, instead of going back to Bear Lake, we turned off halfway back and took the trail to the Glacier Gorge TH, where the shuttle also picks up. Saw some chipmunks and birds, nothing else, too many people.

THIS WAS A TOUR TRAP HIKE, AND THOUGH IT WAS A NICE STROLL WALK AROUND THE LAKE AT RMNP, IT WAS JUST TO MUCH PEOPLE. LIKE THE RIM ON GRAND CANYON. THAT DAY THE TRIBE OF JUDAH BIKER GANG WAS THERE, WHICH WAS FUN TO HANG OUT WITH, BUT THAT IS ABOUT IT, FUN, BUT NOT AN OUTDOOR ADVENTURE AT ALL. THE LAKE TRAIL WAS VERY EASY AND DIDNT TAKE LONG AT ALL TO WALK, BUT THERE IS WAY BETTER IN THE PARK. TO BE HONEST I WILL NOT GO BACK THERE TO THAT PART UNLESS IT IS DEAD WINTER AND NO ONE IS THERE.
