I came across some pictures, of a small trip I took back in 07. Im surprised the Ice Cave & Bandera Volcano hike isnt on the map.
I drove to Albuquerque to look at a car. I arrived a little early so I drove up to Sandia Crest. I didnt really hike here, just looked around. (35.211342, -106.451125) After an hour, I went to go look at the car. This was a waste of time. The cars clutch wasn't working, and I couldnt even drive it. Those, lets call them jerks, knew I was driving from Phoenix to come look at this car. ........ SO I left Albuquerque, and headed toward the Ice Cave & Bandera Volcano. I hiked both trails here. They are small trails, but there is some neat stuff on these hikes.. I then went to the big skylight Cave. If my memory serves me correctly, its a lava tube cave, with some cave-ins. The cave-ins are what created the skylights. Then I drove the back way to Phoenix, going threw Show low.
