| no partners | | | We got an early 7:05 am start on this trail so as to beat the heat on the exposed switchbacks. It was 46 degrees when we started. I think I counted 32 switchbacks on this climb. It took us an hour and 45 minutes to reach the scenic overlook before heading back down. The views of the Kings Canyon River were awesome. Going down only took an hour. The out and back hike came in at 4.5 miles in 2 hours and 45 minutes with 1,560 feet of AEG. |
