Day 4

Stayed at City of Lake Tahoe Campground on Friday night. Options were slim when booking a few days out and I took what I could get. Needless to say, staying in the center of town appeals to the lowest common denominator - some pumpkin blasted Stand By Me at 1:46am, presumably waking up the whole campground. Tough to get a good night's sleep.

Anyways, Saturday was a rest day. Rather than actually doing nothing, I opted to do this quick walk. The trailhead was full and after waiting about 20 minutes for a spot to open up, I decided to park up the street at Kahle Park. Walked down to Nevada Beach and dipped my feet in the lake before returning to the car.

This trail is located off hwy 50 and Kahle Drive. The parking lot is small, about 4-5 cars. The terrain is flat and very easy to follow. Following this trail will bring you to Nevada Beach. There are other trails that branch off this trail but being unfamilar with the area I'm not sure where they go. This trail is heavily used by joggers, bikers and hikers.
