I started the Mt. Moriah trailhead marked on Google Maps. At the very least a high clearance vehicle is needed to get there. 4x4 would be preferred.

From the trailhead I walked back down the road to a sharp bend and followed an old jeep trail up the ridge coming off the northwest side of the peak. From the end of the jeep trail I just followed the ridge to the summit. From the summit I went down the south side then around the east to an old mine and what was marked as a pack trail on Gaia. The pack trail was more of a sheep trail and way too scary to follow for me so I went back up to the summit then followed the ridge off the northeast side down to the Moriah Table. Not being a fan of heights it was a little scary but doable.

I then headed northeast to the edge of the table where I ran into a herd of elk. I followed the edge of the table in a counter clockwise direction until I got to a trail that led into Big Canyon and then back to the trailhead.

Other than the jeep trail and the trail into Big Canyon everything was off trail. There is no trail to the peak. You're on your own getting up and down from the peak. No rock climbing required, just lots of loose rock and dirt. Very beautiful and remote place. Pretty good cell service with AT&T. There are plenty of spots to camp in the area.
