Apparently someone was dumb enough to go hiking in the cold rain. Guess who that person is?

There were surprisingly a decent number of people, but the rain wasn't that bad, and Nimitz Way is paved for about 4 miles. I went out about 3 miles and came back while hitting Wildcat Peak on the way back. It was lightly raining when I started, not raining in the middle, and very lightly raining when I finished.

I saw a lucky worm, a cool rough-skinned newt and a covey of California quail. Some unhappy wildflowers were also seen.

Lots of haze around the bay and the inland valleys in the East Bay, but it was sunny up on the ridge top. I wish I would've worn shorts because it was gorgeous today.
