| no partners | | Apparently someone was dumb enough to go hiking in the cold rain. Guess who that person is?
There were surprisingly a decent number of people, but the rain wasn't that bad, and Nimitz Way is paved for about 4 miles. I went out about 3 miles and came back while hitting Wildcat Peak on the way back. It was lightly raining when I started, not raining in the middle, and very lightly raining when I finished.
I saw a lucky worm, a cool rough-skinned newt and a covey of California quail. Some unhappy wildflowers were also seen. |
