The city and bridge were shrouded in fog most of the day. It was sunny and warm on the island.

Walked around Angel Island on the foggy windy day. Went from ferry pier along Perimeter Road to Immigration Station, took a self-guided tour there to see Chinese poems carved on the walls. Continued to Fort McDowell where abandoned buildings are preserved in there natural decaying state. Went along southeast side of the island listening to container ships blowing horns in the bay fog. Turned to Ida trail and followed it up to the top of Mount Livermore. Took Sunset Trail down to the pier - this trail makes switchbacks forever just wouldn't end. Grabbed some hot soup in the cafe at Ayala Cove and enjoyed it waiting for the last ferry of the day.
