| no partners | | Great views, easy to navigate and go early so as to avoid crowds. For the first half of the trek you will hear the constant flow of the spring below; look up and listen for the sound of the freight train traveling through the tunnels and across the open area connecting the peaks. Don't forget to look for the unmarked trail about 1/2 way through the upper loop. It will take you to stunning views of the Continental Divide (even in July there are snow-capped peaks) |
