I got a bike! I haven't biked in a while, so it was fun to get back on one again. We biked from Aspen to Carbondale, on this bike/hike path. Stopped at the Woody Creek Tavern on the way, which I guess is some sort of rule when you're on that path. They have excellent food, and are VERY generous with the cheese on their nachos! And the walls are full of all sorts of pictures, awards, portraits, sayings, Polaroids... a perfect stop on this little ride. The ride itself is able to avoid the highway, for the most part. However, it's rife with stop signs for driveways and other country roads. Not a bad trade-off, in my opinion. You're still able to lose yourself in the forest, or the fields, or the rocky areas that the trail winds through, and rarely ever even hear a vehicle.
