Mark took me on my 2nd ever outdoor climb. We decided on Rosetta Stone as a good beginner climb since we didn't have enough rope for the Thumb (which is what we really wanted to do). I did pretty well, only got nervous on one part! The views were really clear and beautiful looking out at the Motherlode!

I only hiked to the base of the rocks with them, then they oddly started climbing straight up. I whimpered because I couldn't figure out why we stopped hiking and I just had to stand around bored to tears! I couldn't climb up that stuff! :scared:

Spent the day helping another group of AMC students on their Grad climb day. It was a beautiful day out in the McDowells.
