| no partners | | Decided to get out of the hotel for a couple hours for study break. Hike with a boardwalk through swamp and canal area. 94 degrees and about the same humidity. The canopy was so thick that even with a couple minutes of heavy rain I didn't get more than a couple of drops. Of course it didn't matter since I was soaked through from the humidity. Evidently, not too many people hike down here despite the well maintained trail because I walked through several invisible spider webs as I explored side trails. Stopped by Cypress Lake Alligator Habitat on the way back and took a stroll around the lake. I've worked hear over two years and have seen sharks, sea turtles, dolphins and whales, but no alligators so I thought it was about time. Good times Back to Studying. |
