Day 31. Camped near 590.0 (24.5)
Went to bakery in Tehachapi where I found a ride to where I left off with trail angel, Grateful Dad. Back on trail about 8. After a few miles had a 2300' hot exposed climb. Felt off and sort of zoned out but got startled by a rattlesnake. Mojave? Ran out of water a few minutes before reaching Golden Oaks spring after about 18 miles. Hung out for around an hour with hikers then pressed on for a couple more hours before calling it a day near a very squeaky gate.

Day 32. Camped near 620.2 (30.2)
On trail at 6. Nice morning in forest. Long water carries today, had two springs and a water cache. Left 2nd spring with close to 6 liters since the cache was supposedly dry (it wasn't). Got trail magic at second spring: Mt. Dew, banana, chips, and Oreos. Made my day!
Made 600 miles today!

Day 33. Camped near 651.3 (31.1)
The hope was to get to Walker Pass to get a root beer float from trail angel Coppertone. It was yummy! Lots of sandy trail early on made the walking difficult. Reached the day's only water source, a cache, around 10. Back on trail at 10:45 with a big climb and 5.5 liters of water in case I was short on my goal. I made it with a liter to spare. Good day, cooler than expected.
