After developing some nervous system issues, I'm stuck with doing easy hikes. Neurologist says I can keep hiking, just take it easy. So, flatland hikes for me.

Can't get much easier than the Well Road Trail. I used to hike in this area with my dog on days I didn't have time to drive farther. Then I found out dogs were only allowed on paved paths in the campground or something like that. Based on the amount of doggy doo on the trails in the area, a lot of people ignore the rules, probably residents in the adjoining neighborhoods. But we stopped going and haven't been back here since then until now.

Tried to beat the heat, but didn't get as early of a start as we had planned on. Although a little warm, there was a good breeze that kept us decently cool for most of the hike. After making it to the pump station we took what we believe was Prospector Trail and tried to hike to the intersection of Avery Bryce Trail. Unfortunately there were too many side trails and we were unable to reach Avery Bryce Trail and turned back.

The road was a nice, easy hike. We started around 8:30 and the wind kept the heat from being unbearable.

Regarding the road itself and the numerous side trails, I don't think that anything we encountered out there was signed and I can't say that our maps turned out to be much help either.
