| no partners | | Exploratory after work hike up the canyon on the east side of Hickey Mountain (Crow's Peak approach route) to see if a trail shown on an old map actually connected with the Woodchute-Hickey Flats road above. The trail gave out at the powerline cut, but I continued up on a game trail for a bit. Came across a shallow cave in the Redwall Limestone which I'm pretty sure was/is a bear den. With light fading I jumped a ridge and headed back down the canyon to the highway. |

| no partners | | I went off trail exploring up a wooded canyon late on a Sunday afternoon, and stumbled onto a nice cairned route/trail. I hiked up to the saddle between Hickey Mountain and peak 7334', turning around at dusk after enjoying the view to the west of Prescott Valley. I'll have to come back and visit peak 7334'. |

| no partners | | Been here before but decided to come back with a buddy and get up to the peak. The power lines killed it for me the first time but walking the ridge and doing some non-technical rock climbing was super cool. when we got up to the top, there was a crow just coasting in the air in the same place right next to us. |
