Great hike in the parched dry mountains. Looked for and found several groups of wild horses. Also found several springs with fresh flowing water.

A rugged adventure in an area rich with mining history. Mine tailings abound. This area still has many active prospect mines and claims so be careful not to trespass. Wild horses are everywhere. Great scenery as you look down on Dayton, Nevada which is where Gold was first Discovered in Nevada in 1849.
