Excellent few days spent at Hawley Lake just be sure to get your camping permit on one of the many locations on the way such as Hondah store or online. The only minor problem we had is that the campground is within an open range so a cow wandered into our camp during the night and scared the bejeziz out of us but other than that it was a great experience. Hiking is also an option around the lake and in the general area around the campgrounds. Fishing is best in deep water and better out on the lake so a boat is helpful for better fishing.
