Quiet evening hike, no one else around. Mining companies are taking steps to conserve this canyon as a wildlife refuge.

Interesting geology awaits the curious in this canyon which presented quite a challege to traverse, for the pioneers. Years ago the road used to follow this trail but now the road (I-80) and the railroad have tunnels thru the mountain. Saw no one else on the trail.
