Nice and cool at this altitude helped make this an enjoyable day. Another surprise-no bugs. Very dry now so a lot of mosquitos are gone. Most of the wild flowers are done in this area. Saw only one other hiker even though the trailhead lot was full. The hut is very functional especially in case of foul weather. Nice day.
