Took a day off from working at my moms place to take a hike in with my brother, sister-in-law, and Bella.
45 degrees, cloudy and breezy on the day.

Trees are just starting to bud and just a few flowers seen.

Saw the remnants of a raccoon raiding a wood duck nest.

My last day in Michigan.
Hiked with my brother, Sister-in-Law, and Bella.

We completed the northern portion of the Potawatomi Trail.
The northern portion of this trail is next to property owned by the University of Michigan.
They really don't want people in there with a 14' tall barbed wire fence around it.

Never realized there were Yurts in Michigan. There is a nice one on an inlet to Halfmoon Lake.

Once again perfect weather

My favorite hike of the week out in Michigan.
Lots-o-lakes and water to be seen. The thickness of the forest is incredible. Enjoyed time with my brother and nephew. Trails are in great shape.
The only people seen were 2 mountain bikers.

The weather was superb!
