| no partners | | this was another hike i had done part of in 2006 - i remember it was raining
we tried to get an earlier start since there was a chance of rain, but couldn't get into the park until 0900
took the shuttle to glacier gorge trailhead
alberta falls is the first stop, and there were quite a few people up until that point
it's about two miles to the fork where the trail to mills lake goes left, to the loch on the right
we went to the loch first since there was more elevation gain that way
spent a few minutes at the lake, then back to the fork and on to mills lake
took a little break there just enjoying the woods and the scenery
both trails go farther, to sky pond or black lake, and it would be fun to see those someday
rain held off until late afternoon
