Still a little early for wildflowers. Saw a few but I think later in July would be better. At the intersection with the Gorge Range trail -- about 3.5 miles in, the North Tenmile Creek trail continues for about another 2 miles. However today it quickly became a mudddy, marshy mess so we found a spot by the river and had our lunch before heading back. We were stoked about the bear sighting although we didn't see him on our return. Then when we got back to the trailhead, two moose walked down into the small meadow right in front of our car!!! A great ending to a great hike. |
