Hiked up here to place a geocache at the summit. Hiked along the logging road to the highest point then headed up the hill. Found three bearing trees and a corner monument a few hundred feet up from the road. Stopped here to rest for a few minutes (I was carrying a .50 cal metal ammo can as the cache container), before continuing up. Soon made it to the top and found the Fortynine station mark, but didn't find reference marks 1 or 2. Also found the summit log, which was a glass jar, there were a lot of signatures on it. Placed the geocache under the same rock pile the summit log was hiding under. The hike down was a lot faster.

Hiked this one with about 1-2 feet of snow. It was slow going. At the top it began to snow fairly heavy. BEEBEE and I worked our radio contacts and packed up in a hurry due to the snow.
