1st trip
Took a break on day 5 and this was our Plan B for our last day, Day 6.

We needed to stay at a lower elevation (at aprox 4800') as opposed to our plan A (6000') to try and get some views. It worked somewhat, but would have been much better 500' lower.

This is a real pretty trail system, in a remote area close to Lake Toxaway. I doubt there are many houses less than $1M on that lake.

There are officially trails to 12 different Waterfalls in the Panthertown Valley Trail system. There are numerous other trails and smaller waterfalls also.

We had a Fog / Drizzle all day, with one downpour. Overall much better weather than what was expected. A GPS track of the area was very helpful with all the "Use" trails.

Schoolhouse, Wilderness, and Greenland Creek Falls were my #3, #2, and #1 pick for favorites on this loop.

This finished off a great week with Lindsy and my son. They showed me great hospitality at their new house and in the establishments in and around Asheville for the week I was there.
