I really enjoyed this hike. There were quite a few people, but most were through-hikers on the Pacific Crest Trail so it was cool. Some of them smelled really bad, and they all looked hungry. I was surprised to see so many wildflowers, but the display could be paltry compared to previous years for all I know. I really appreciated the bright blue sky with white puffy clouds, especially how the white puffy clouds didn't turn into angry dark clouds. The weather on this hike was as pleasant as it was unpleasant during my hike south on the PCT on Saturday.
I would definitely recommend this hike.
Curiously, I heard an amazing amount of birdsong, but saw very few actual birds.
