| no partners | | | Started at Preacher Canyon Group Campground just east of Payson. Followed the jeep trail the whole way to the top. The hike starts out fairly gentle with somewhat flat or downhill areas. After a mile the unrelenting uphill climb starts. Things level off a bit with only a half mile to go. Nice view of rim country. |
